Designed by Famke, inspired by her Grandmother
Famke, the co-founder of Nonchi Cashmere, has been immersed in the world of design since she was a child. She learned the art of creating beautiful clothing from her grandmother. Her grandmother has always been her guide, sharing design secrets passed down through generations. To this day, they work side by side, with Famke crafting the designs and her grandmother’s expertise guiding each step. Together, they bring Nonchi's collections to life, drawing inspiration from specific destinations. Their shared vision transforms each destination into a collection that tells a story and embodies its essence.
The Highest Quality Cashmere
Famke’s love for design is matched by her dedication to quality. Inspired by her travels and her grandmother’s wisdom, she handpicks the finest materials for each collection. Therefore, Nonchi only uses A-grade cashmere, sourced from Kashmir goats that graze in the lush grasslands of Kashmir, the birthplace of cashmere. Each fiber, measuring just 14 to 15.5 microns in diameter, offers unmatched softness and durability. To ensure the highest standards, all our cashmere is A-grade, verified by Intertek, and sustainably certified by GOTS.
Sustainability Woven into Every Thread
At Nonchi, true luxury goes hand in hand with responsibility. Every step of our process is designed with care for the world around us. Our cashmere is GOTS-certified, ensuring ethical production and environmentally friendly practices. We minimize waste by creating timeless pieces that last and use eco-friendly packaging made from FSC-certified materials and recycled plastics.
Inspiration from the Andalusian Coast
For our latest collection, The Azure Coastal Collection, inspiration came from the Andalusian coast. The deep blue of the Mediterranean, the sun-kissed tones of the villages, and the relaxed elegance of coastal life. These elements are captured in soft hues, natural textures, and the lightest cashmere, bringing the essence of summer to life.
