STEP 1 | Handwash
Fill a basin or sink with cool water and add approximately one tablespoon of cashmeresoap. Use slightly less for lighter colors and a bit more for darker shades. For the best results, choose a soap with a low pH.
Note: You don't need to wash your cashmere after every wear. We suggest cleaning it about every three wears, though this can vary based on personal preference.
STEP 2 | Roll it up
We suggest air-drying your cashmere for the best results. Here’s our proven method:
Lay your cashmere flat on a towel. Begin by rolling the towel and cashmere together from one end, gently pressing out any excess water as you go.
STEP 3 | Air-dry
Once rolled, unroll the towel and place the cashmere on a fresh towel. Allow it to air-dry completely, which usually takes about 24 hours, to restore its original shape.
Note: Always lay your cashmere flat to dry and avoid direct sunlight.
STEP 4 | Store with care
To maintain your cashmere sweater’s quality, fold it for storage instead of hanging it. Utilizing a dark, airtight space with cedar chips and dried lavender will help deter moth infestations and musty odors.
