Virgin Baby Cashmere comes from the first combing of a young cashmere goat. The goat develops the first time an exceptionally fine undercoat to protect itself from the cold Himalayan climate. When spring arrives, this first coat is gently combed for the first time, collecting the finest fibres the goat will ever produce.

What makes this fibre particularly rare is that it can only be collected once. After the first combing, the fibre that grows back is no longer the same exceptionally fine first coat. This makes Virgin Baby Cashmere a limited and naturally precious cashmere.

Its fineness is what gives it its distinctive feel. The fibres are exceptionally soft against the skin, while their natural warmth makes the cashmere comfortable to wear. The fine, naturally long fibres also give the finished garment strength and help it retain its shape and beauty over time.
