Cashmere fibers range typically from 14 to 30 microns. Finer fibers create knitwear that feels naturally soft, pills less, and retains its shape and elegance with wear. Thicker fibers feel coarser, lose softness more quickly, and loses the shape.

Nonchi’s cashmere comes from goats in Kashmir, a mountainous region in the western Himalayas where cashmere was first discovered and prized for centuries. These goats grow an ultra-fine undercoat, producing fibers known as Pashmina.
Today, only about 1% of global production is true Kashmiri Pashmina, making each piece exceptionally exclusive. Nonchi sources directly from this region, respecting the heritage and traditional practices of local herders.
