What is premium certified cashmere?
Cashmere in general
The luxury of cashmere
Cashmere, often regarded as one of the most luxurious fibers in the world, is prized for its incredible softness, warmth, and delicate beauty. Harvested from the undercoat of cashmere goats, it takes immense care and precision to produce even a small quantity of this fine wool.
Cashmere is lightweight and insulating, unlike other fibers, making it ideal for creating garments that provide warmth without bulk. Its rarity and labor-intensive production process contribute to its high value, but its timeless appeal and comfort make it worth the investment.

How to recognize high-quality cashmere?
1. Check the fibers
A simple way to check cashmere quality is by holding the garment up to the light. If you notice a very fluffy surface, this often suggests shorter, less durable fibers were used. You can also test it by gently running your hand over the material. If small pills or fuzz start to form, it’s likely an indication of those shorter fibers.
2. Check the softness
Cashmere should feel luxuriously soft. However, relying on softness alone can be misleading. Some brands add resin to give cashmere a temporary soft feel.
